I am very short (4'11), and I wanted to wear a long ball gown. I also have Indian, I can not wear anything too short (GAH!) ... I wonder, is there any way you can girls wear the short term remain good.

Stay away from the doll, you look like when you go after a long dress. Baby Doll looks good on short girls, but only if the dress is short. I suggest a mermaid-style dress, because it creates the impression of a longer torso:)

I am 16 and 4'10, I know exactly how you feel. It is possible to look good in a long dress, but there are tricks to it. In short Petite girls can wear long dresses. Simply search for a long dress that you want. Try to do something comprehensive slender curves in all the right places and then what you do not trippin on them.
