Well, for a detailed answer, I will do my best. The reception is a map of the Pavonia station just south of the hotel. Start by leaving the car park to the east, by Marin Blvd. (see traffic!) and follow the access road to the Newport Mall (Sears moves to the right, and model) athletic teams on the left side. Finally, you reach Washington Street, right onto Washington and farther south between the office buildings to the Marriott. PATH station is right next to the Marriott Hotel on the east side of Washington.

It seems that the cards go, that two blocks east then two blocks south of the hotel. I suppose if you ask at the office with which you will give a paper chart with instructions. You're not the first to do so.
You can contact the World Trade Center and Penn Station are two major metro centers.
You can use the PATH train to Pavonia Newport or Exchange Place. Pavonia Newport is adjacent to the Newport Center Mall in Jersey City - and the end is quite nice. Of Pavonia Newport Station you can take the train at the 33rd Road to take and the World Trade Center station, located in Manhattan, where you want to go. Good luck.

I am not sure that the way in Jersey City. But you can find the way to Penn Station in Newark. You can then to New York. You really are not that far.
